Orchestral Musician

Bethan is an experienced orchestral musician, playing both harp and flute at county and national levels.  2025 will be her forth year playing harp with the Amadeus Academy Orchestra with whom she has played a variety of pieces, including: 

• Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Bernstein
• Overture to Candide by Bernstein
• Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra by Britten
• Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes by Britten
• Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev
• Symphony No 5 in D Minor by Shostakovich
• Firebird Suite by Stravinsky

Whilst most of Bethan's orchestral experience is classical on harp and flute, she also enjoys playing with a jazz and blues orchestra on saxophone.
